At long last, beta reader sign-ups for The Nameless Song are now open! If you have been tracking my dragon-flavored fantasy/romance and have wanted a chance to get your hands on it, you now have the opportunity to read it before nearly anyone else! Just click the link below and fill out your details, and you’ll receive a link to the full, near-final manuscript at the end of the month.
Further details are inside that link, but as a short summary:
Sign-ups will be open from now until midnight, January 22.
Links will be distributed on January 29 (unless you’ve requested for it to be delivered at a later date).
The beta phase will run from January 29 to April 30.
You are free to continue reading after April 30; that’s just when I’ll start making revisions based on your notes. The hard close will be whenever the manuscript is ready to be queried.
Detailed instructions and a list of questions to think about will be distributed with the manuscript, but you’re free to ignore these and comment on as much or as little as you’d like. I play it fast and loose with betas, to be honest.
I’m offering a beta in return for a complete beta. As in, finish the novel, and you can drop into my DMs and ask me to read anything you’d like in return. If you’re not an author, you will have my eternal love and support (and possibly bread).
